As an ER Advisor based in Ripon or Warwick you’ll be responsible for:
- Working in a fast-paced environment, managing a number of complex cases at any one time, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, sickness absence and attendance, bullying and harassment, whistleblowing and appeals
- Providing comprehensive advice to managers on a wide range of ER matters
- Providing advice and information to line managers and employees in relation to all HR policy and procedures ensuring consistency of application throughout the business
- Maintaining and updating employee relations records on the casework HALO ticketing system and employee files.
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
- Previous ER/Advisory experience and experience managing complex cases such as disciplinaries, grievances, appeals and long-term sickness absence
- A strong understanding of employment law and legislative changes
- To be able to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be able to draft appropriate, legally compliant letters and correspondence in response to ER issues
- To be able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
