Location: Hybrid role based at our Bracknell Head Office.

THE POSITION

In this pivotal role, you will drive commercial and financial success for the Equine Business Unit by leading both technical advisory and marketing functions. Through your team, you’ll deliver superior technical support to internal and external stakeholders while spearheading innovative, integrated marketing strategies that:

  • Prepare the market for successful launches
  • Promote core equine brands
  • Capitalize on emerging opportunities

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Support the Equine Business Head in developing strategic marketing and technical plans for sustainable, profitable growth within budget.
  • Provide clinical and market insights from customers, KEEs, and technical literature.
  • Direct brand managers to create and execute annual marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to translate market needs into effective marketing tools and technical support, including training.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and engage with key influencers and bodies.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire your team to deliver excellence in brand and technical management.
  • Ensure accurate responses to technical enquiries and oversee investigations of product complaints and adverse events.


Requirements

  • Veterinary degree
  • Relevant industry experience
  • Business or Marketing qualification (e.g., CIM Diploma)
  • Significant experience in clinical practice and marketing management within animal health
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of market drivers
  • Previous experience in field-based sales or key account management (advantageous)
  • Proven leadership and line management skills
  • Excellent strategic planning, prioritisation, and analytical abilities
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
