Job Title: Environmental Operative
Location: Northampton
Rate: £13.75 p/h
Contract Type: Full time, temporary for 3 months

Our client is looking for a reliable Environmental Operative to support essential property and environmental maintenance tasks across their housing sites and open spaces.

This is a dual-role position combining driving duties with environmental and property clearance work. You'll play an important part in ensuring homes, gardens, and communal areas are safe, clean, and ready for occupancy or improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving to and from sites to deliver and collect tools, materials, and equipment
• Clearing and cleaning vacated properties, including removal of furniture and waste
• Performing garden maintenance and general environmental clean-ups
• Removing graffiti and drug-related paraphernalia safely
• Conducting minor DIY tasks and installing/removing security boarding
• Ensuring proper handling, storage, and disposal of items and materials
• Carrying out regular vehicle checks and maintenance logs

• Experience in carrying out manual lifting and outdoor tasks
• Experienced or comfortable working in challenging environments
• Capable of working independently and within a team
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety and quality
