This role will be an extension of our Large & Complex Customers (‘L&C') team, reporting into our Enterprise Director alongside other Enterprise Consultants and related Enterprise sales leaders.

Your Role

You will be responsible for sponsoring customer engagements, coaching salespeople, and building enterprise sales best practices and tools to support a broad base of enterprise sellers.

Alongside the core responsibilities for support our L&C community, you will also have a aligned focus on our strategic house and acquire accounts. In total this is 50 customers that we want to ensure are prioritised to benefit from your expertise through direct engagement, supporting the account teams to apply Softcat's appropriate resources, and following best practices for customer engagement.

As an Enterprise Consultant, you'll be responsible for:


  • Communities – connect internal communities to promote learning and collaboration
  • Sales engagement – provide senior management oversight for strategic customers
  • Customer contact – be a point of expertise to support both the wider sales teams in strategic customers
  • Strategy – contribute to the L&C strategy and developing our sales team

  • Strong background in Enterprise sales, within the IT channel
