English Teacher

Location: Maidstone, Kent

Salary: £90 - £220 per day

Start Date: Immediate or As Soon As Possible

Contract: Long-Term, Full-Time

GSL Education Kent are seeking a dedicated and inspiring English Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Maidstone. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to help shape the future of students by delivering engaging English lessons potentially A-levels, depending on experience.

English Teacher Key Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering high-quality English lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
• Ensuring students are prepared for GCSE examinations through thorough coverage of the curriculum and effective assessment strategies.
• Developing students' skills in reading, writing, and critical analysis.
• Monitoring student progress, providing feedback, and implementing intervention strategies where necessary.
• Creating an inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to take an active role in their learning.
  
  

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Previous experience as an English Teacher, ideally within a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver inspiring lessons across a range of abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• A commitment to the safeguarding and well-being of all students.
