Job Title: English Teacher

Location: Chesterfield (S40)

Salary Range: £140 - £190 per day (Depending on experience)

Start: November 2024

Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are searching for dedicated and enthusiastic English Teachers to work in Schools across Chesterfield (S40), starting in November 2024. Whether you are looking for long-term positions or day-to-day assignments, we have placements available in a wide range of schools to suit your career goals.

As an English Teacher, you will inspire students to explore the world of literature and language, helping them develop critical thinking and communication skills. You will create dynamic lesson plans that engage and challenge learners, fostering a love for reading and writing. Responsibilities Of The English Teacher

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging English lessons for Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can succeed.
• Use creative teaching strategies to improve literacy and communication skills.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.
  
  

Requirements Of The English Teacher

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
• Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
• A degree in English or a relevant field.
• Experience preferred with Secondary Schools.
• Passion for teaching and inspiring young learners.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to adapt and cater to different learning styles.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
