We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead the technical delivery of our IT Roadside product line. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality, scalable technology solutions. You’ll be responsible for guiding a cross-functional engineering squad through the full development lifecycle - ensuring technical excellence, timely delivery, and alignment with business goals.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical depth with a genuine passion for people leadership. You’ll be expected to mentor and inspire your team, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and collaborate closely with product, architecture, and delivery teams. If you enjoy rolling up your sleeves, solving complex problems, and driving innovation while empowering others to do their best work, we’d love to hear from you.

What will I be doing?
- Own the engineering capability for a defined product line, ensuring stability, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Lead a cross-functional squad through the full software development lifecycle – from design and development to testing and maintenance.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to shape roadmaps that balance innovation with product health.
- Drive DevOps practices, automation, and technical excellence across the team.
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure high-quality delivery from partners.
- Provide clear direction, coaching, and career development for your team.
- Ensure effective resource planning, budget management, and governance compliance.
- Extensive IT engineering expertise across a broad range of technologies, with hands-on experience in application customisation, integration, and technical solution design.
- Proven leadership of high-performing engineering teams in complex, fast-paced environments, with the ability to inspire, support, and hold teams accountable.
- Strong delivery background in Agile, Scrum, and/or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), with a track record of managing medium to large-scale development projects.
- Strategic and pragmatic mindset, capable of balancing long-term vision with short-term delivery, and comfortable operating at or near L6 level.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and collaborate effectively across functions and with suppliers.
- A passion for innovation and continuous improvement, with a hands-on approach and a commitment to delivering impactful, high-quality solutions.
