Are you passionate about people and ready to make a real impact in a fast-paced, high-volume environment? We’re looking for an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join our HR team on an interim basis and help shape a positive, supportive workplace culture.
About the Role
As one of our ER Advisors, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things employee relations—guiding and coaching managers through a wide range of cases, from conduct and capability to more complex organisational change. You’ll play a key role in ensuring fair, timely, and risk-aware outcomes that align with both employment law and our internal policies. Responsibilities
- Acting as the first point of contact for ER matters across the business
- Coaching and supporting managers to confidently handle ER cases
- Tracking ER cases and identifying trends to drive continuous improvement
- Supporting projects such as TUPE, restructures, and policy development
- Enhancing ER capability across the organisation through tools and training
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an ER advisory role (ideally in retail, distribution, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law
- CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent)
- Confident communicator with excellent coaching and interpersonal skills
- Organised, resilient, and able to manage sensitive matters with discretion

Pay range and compensation package
Up to £35,000 (Pro Rata)
22 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays (Pro Rata)
