This position of Electronics Engineer is a phenomenal opportunity to join a high performing multi-discipline MOL/VAE team to ensure sustainment of coding and marking products, with the aim of exceeding customer expectations around safety, quality, and delivery. This will require frequent collaboration with Operations and other international Videojet R&D teams. The position is located in our Huntingdon office (office and lab-based work).

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for embedded system hardware design changes - component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout, prototype debug, test, verification and pilot-run.
  • Design and implementation of test rigs for verification and functional test.
  • Documentation of the specification and implementation of design changes.
  • Design for volume production of products that are safe, reliable, and meet required industry standards
  • Work with other functional teams, such as Mechanical Engineering, Sourcing, Quality, Service, Tech support, suppliers, and Operations to ensure the successful implement of design changes.


The requirements of the job include:

  • Education (Degree or above) in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Digital electronic design experience (microcontroller, microprocessor)
  • Analogue electronic design experience (discrete and interfacing to sensors)
  • EMI/EMC and regulatory compliance experience is desirable.
  • Design verification and functional test software development is desirable (C/C++, Arduino, Pi).
