Working with a large portfolio of public and private sector clients, our UK based organisation comprises of several divisions including Mechanical & Electrical, Construction, Projects, Reactive, FM, Small Works and other associated trades.

Here at BJF, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our exciting and expanding construction biased business, where YOU can help support the FM team as an Electrician.

Position:

As part of our continued growth, our FM division are looking to appoint an experienced and professional Electrician to carry out all planned maintenance tasks across the designated site.

Further responsibilities of the role include:

  • Electrical installation works - mainly new lighting installation around fire doors and exits
  • Electrical testing and fault-finding
  • Estimation of small/minor works
  • Organising and arranging materials for additional works

  • To act in the best interests of BJF when on site and dealing with Clients
  • To always work in a safe manner and to a high-standard, in line with best working practices
  • Understand your responsibility for the health, safety and wellbeing of your team and the wider group, whilst promoting a positive health and safety culture throughout
  • Promote and live BJF TEAMS values

Requirements:

To be considered for the role, you will need to demonstrate all of the following:

  • Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation (2357)
  • Testing & Inspection (2391)
  • 18th Edition Full Classroom Course & IET Wiring Regulations (7671)
  • Full UK Driving License

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:

  • A strong commercial and industrial back ground
  • Basic IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word
  • JIB Gold Card
  • IPAF
  • PASMA
  • EV Charger install experience
  • CompEx 01-04
