Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician

Shift Pattern: 2 Days / 2 Nights / 4 Off (Repeat 3 Weeks, Then 12 Days Off)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at a fast-paced production site in Doncaster. Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults across a range of industrial systems and equipment
• Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to minimise downtime and maintain site safety
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems, instrumentation, and variable speed drives
• Interpret and work from electrical schematics and engineering diagrams
• Collaborate closely with production and maintenance teams to resolve issues efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, faults, and parts usage

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial maintenance environment
• Confident in reading electrical diagrams, testing motors, and working on control circuits
• Basic PLC fault-finding experience (repair not essential)
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance
• Good communication and time management
