Key Responsibilities:

As the Electrical Engineer , your role will include:

• Conduct all stages of electrical design from concept to completion as required by the project.
• Ensure value engineering of electrical design.
• Ensure that technical assessments are completed, and technical issues are resolved quickly.
• Compile and issue electrical technical submittals.
• Chair regular meetings to ensure that progress is monitored & maintained. Update and record progress on system trackers ensuring alignment with the project schedule.
• Review the electrical installation with the BIM team to ensure constructability of the design.
• Take design lead on projects promoting design excellence at all times.
• Consult closely with other professionals, including design and construction team.
  
  

Experience and Skills:

• Qualification in Electrical Engineering / Building Services Engineering or higher educational qualification
• 5+ years of proven project engineering experience
• Experience in a range of digital tools including AutoCAD, AutoDesk Revit, Dialux, Relux, Amtech, NBS and Microsoft packages
• Experienced in project lead and delivery of electrical services across multiple projects, as part of a multi discipline design team.
• Fully conversant with technical and legislation requirements for electrical services equipment and installation design and management.
• Capability of walking down electrical systems to ensure compliance with specification.
• Strong communication and people skills, particularly the ability to influence and negotiate both internally and externally with an open and inclusive style.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental systems.
• Good team player with a client-focused mindset and customer facing skills.
• Ability to work flexibly across multiple projects.
