We are currently looking for an EHS Engineer to join a leading medical technology company based in Devon. As the EHS Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental, and Sustainability legislation, as well as driving the achievement of functional business targets and goals.

As the EHS Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental, and Sustainability legislation, as well as driving the achievement of functional business targets and goals.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
Your duties as the EHS Engineer will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Assist all levels of management in implementing and maintaining health and safety standards, including ISO14001 certification.
- Act as the key contact for external visits and audits from relevant agencies, ensuring compliance and effective communication.
- Conduct risk assessments on new and existing assembly equipment to ensure the safety and wellbeing of associates.
- Utilise data to analyse near misses and incidents, identifying areas of concern and implementing corrective actions.
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the EHS Engineer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- Relevant degree in a Health & Safety discipline.
- Proven industry experience in health, safety, and environmental management within a manufacturing organisation.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with conducting audits and risk assessments.
