We're looking for an Education Manager to develop and execute our global education strategy across our UK retail, e-tail, and professional channels. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially-minded individual with a strong background in the beauty and skincare industry.
The ideal candidate will know how to translate product knowledge into tangible commercial success. You will be responsible for creating and delivering impactful training programs that not only educate our teams but also drive sales and profitability.
This role includes leading one direct report. You will be responsible for ensuring the education team operates efficiently, consistently delivering measurable results that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive regional education strategy for both the retail and professional channels that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
- Identify key training needs through sales data analysis, market feedback, and competitive intelligence.
- Create an annual regional education calendar, including new product launch training, seasonal campaigns, and ongoing professional development.
- Content Development & Delivery:
- Design and create engaging, commercially-focused training materials and content for various platforms, including presentations, workbooks, e-learning modules, videos, and social media.
- Develop training programs that cater to different audiences, from retail sales associates to professional clinicians (e.g., dermatologists, aestheticians).
- Ensure all training content is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Lead training sessions, workshops, and events, both in-person and virtually.
- Commercial Acumen & Performance Management:
- Translate training objectives into tangible commercial outcomes, such as increased average transaction value (ATV), improved sales per door, or enhanced customer retention.
- Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product development teams to ensure education efforts support key business goals.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of training programs using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales uplift, knowledge retention, and participant feedback.
- Manage the education budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated to initiatives that provide the highest return on investment (ROI).
- Support Senior National Account Managers in developing commercial education strategies to drive product sell-through.
- Team Leadership & Management:
- Manage, mentor, and develop one direct report (Training & Events Executive).
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, set performance goals, and provide constructive feedback to foster professional growth.
- Delegate tasks and projects effectively to ensure the team meets its objectives.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the regional & global education teams.
- Events, Brand Representation, and Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as a key brand representative at internal and external events, PR opportunities, and industry trade shows.
- Act as a spokesperson or on-screen talent for educational content, brand videos, and live demonstrations when needed.
- Act as the primary regional point of contact for education-related inquiries from both retail partners and professional clients.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including store managers, clinic owners, sales representatives, and marketing teams.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and competitor education strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Significant experience in a commercial education or training role, with a strong focus on the retail and/or professional beauty/skincare industry.
- Proven experience in a multichannel role, managing education for both retail and professional settings.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (e.g., CIBTAC, ITEC, CIDESCO) in beauty therapy, aesthetics, or a related field is essential.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving sales and profitability through education.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and public speaking skills, with a confident and engaging on-camera presence.
- Demonstrable talent for creating compelling content and representing a brand effectively at public-facing events.
- Demonstrable experience in content creation and instructional design.
- Proficiency in a learning management system (LMS) and e-learning platforms is a plus.
- Experience in managing a direct report is highly desirable.
