Day-to-day Of The Role
- Develop and implement tailored strategies based on the analysis of triggers and consequences of behaviours, particularly for autistic children.
- Work closely with teaching staff to support learning, as well as social and emotional needs.
- Engage and motivate pupils by building trust and confidence, ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to drive continuous improvement in learning quality.
- Utilise excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children from diverse backgrounds and other staff members.
- Proven experience as a Behaviour Analyst or in a similar role, ideally within a special educational needs (SEN) setting.
- Strong understanding of the needs of children with complex autism.
- Ability to inspire, challenge, and stimulate both pupils and staff.
- Flexible, reflective, and self-evaluating practitioner.
- Must possess or be willing to obtain a DBS check on the update service.
