Join Barclays as an EDP Execution Lead, where you’ll be responsible for supporting delivery across key technology and strategic within the GFED space, working closely with senior mentors Leaders and cross-functional teams. This includes coordinating and facilitating delivery activities, guiding stakeholder relationships, setting agendas for key calls, and ensuring alignment with CIO priorities.

Purpose of the role
To manage the efficient delivery of large-scale technical projects and capabilities across the bank and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations throughout the software product lifecycle, adhering to agreed time, budget and quality requirements.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Should Demonstrate
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication – Good coordination and communication skills across senior stakeholders, HR, and cross-functional teams, with a particular focus on supporting and aligning with CIO priorities. Confirmed ability to mentor expectations, facilitate clear communication, and unite diverse stakeholders around strategic such as EVP programmes and site strategy updates.
- Operational Planning & Delivery Oversight – A good in planning and executing strategic programmes, including GFED Tech Colleague and Site Strategy, Change Community Connect, and talent development . Skilled in guiding timelines, delegating responsibilities, and maintaining delivery cadence.
- Team Development & Inclusion – A commitment to fostering team growth and inclusivity by supporting and driving such as job shadowing, inclusion packs, and learning & Development sessions like “A Day in the Life of...”. Dynamically promotes upskilling, recognition, and a culture of engagement.
- Digital Fluency & Tooling Awareness – Familiarity with delivery and governance tools such as JIRA, Navigator, and GitLab. Supports automation and digitisation efforts with a good understanding of tooling impact, even in non-hands-on roles.
- Change Influence & Agility – Experience in supporting change through like Change the Bank and agile transformation. Encourages structured learning and agile practices across teams.

This role is based in Northampton.
Purpose of the role
To manage the efficient delivery of large-scale technical projects and capabilities across the bank and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations throughout the software product lifecycle, adhering to agreed time, budget and quality requirements.
Accountabilities
- Management of the delivery, resource allocation and improvement of complex technical project capabilities across the bank using Agile/Scrum methodologies for planning, stand-ups, demos, retrospectives and the execution of sprints.
- Collaboration with customers and business teams to manage and implement customer trails to support the proposal of technically feasible solutions, and effort and timeline expectations.
- Collaboration with software engineers, quality teams, product managers and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycle aligned to the banks objectives, regulation and security policies.
- Identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks associated with technical projects to prepare the bank for potential challenges.
- Management of change requests and communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Management of vendor relations involved in technical projects to ensure they deliver according to agreed terms.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry technology trends and technologies, to evaluate and adopt new approaches to improving deliver outcomes and to foster a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence and growth.
- To advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness. Collaborate closely with other functions/ business divisions.
- Lead a team performing complex tasks, using well developed professional knowledge and skills to deliver on work that impacts the whole business function. Set objectives and coach employees in pursuit of those objectives, appraisal of performance relative to objectives and determination of reward outcomes
