As a Driver Technician, you will support operational delivery of the Test and Monitoring business, you'll be responsible for delivering a best-in-class service to our customers using your experience to help our customers with on-site issues, diagnosing and guiding them through procedures and fault diagnosis of the Test and Monitoring equipment.

As a Driver Technician, you will support operational delivery of the Test and Monitoring business, you'll be responsible for delivering a best-in-class service to our customers using your experience to help our customers with on-site issues, diagnosing and guiding them through procedures and fault diagnosis of the Test and Monitoring equipment.
Key responsibilities.
- Undertake calibration of the equipment.
- Diagnose and fix equipment where needed.
- Ensuring the safe use of all the equipment.
- Ensure audit and compliance systems are kept up to date and adhered too.
- To ensure that all reporting, administration is completed / maintained in line with Company standards.
- Involvement with onsite projects
- Adhering to and promoting Health and Safety and compliance of equipment standards.
- Maintaining effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Working with operations to resolve customer issues promptly and to the satisfaction of all concerned.
- KPI management including effectively working towards key team targets.
- To raise the Sunbelt Rentals profile and reputation through professional attitude.
- Adhere to and promote all health and safety standards and ensure all employees do the same to generate a safe working environment.

To succeed in this role you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours:
- Proven experience in a Technical Support role, preferably handling service and repair enquiries however training will be provided.
- Technical expertise is desirable.
- Strong commitment to delivering high standards.
- Exceptional communication skills, you’ll have the ability to engage and build relationships with both internal and external customers
- An inquisitive mind, you'll enjoy analysing and problem solving - thinking quickly to provide immediate solutions to complex customer on-site service issues
- An effective team member with a highly supportive, collaborative approach
- A flexible and adaptable person, you’ll enjoy a varied workday in a fast-paced operational environment where you’ll manage multiple tasks, deadlines and targets whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy
- A commitment to continuous improvement, puts forward and acts on suggestions to improve processes and service levels
- Computer literate. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Flexible working mentality in line with business requirements including occasional weekends and additional hours connected to site-based work.
- Full Clean Driving Licence
