DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Class 1 driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will
- Multi drop delivery of car parts to dealerships across North West England
- Manual handling of rolling cages and use of manual pallet truck, as well as loading and unloading of trailer
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
- You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience of multi drop delivery is desirable but not essential
- Experience working in a night shift role previously is advantageous
- Ideally will have 12 months recent Class 1 Driving experience
