Role Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Van Driver to support our lift installation and service teams. The role involves transporting lift components, tools, and equipment between the warehouse, suppliers, and customer sites. You will play a key part in ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining vehicle standards, and assisting the operations team when required.
Key Responsibilities:
ORONA's activities are focused on the design, manufacture, installation, maintenance, and modernization of lifts, escalators, moving ramps and walkways. Operating in 100 countries , we have 330,000 lifts worldwide using our technology. With 2 manufacturing plants Orona is Number 1 in Europe in terms of complete lift production capacity.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Van Driver to support our lift installation and service teams. The role involves transporting lift components, tools, and equipment between the warehouse, suppliers, and customer sites. You will play a key part in ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining vehicle standards, and assisting the operations team when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive company vans to deliver and collect lift components, tools, and materials.
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring items are handled with care and in line with health & safety practices.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or issues promptly.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, collections, and mileage logs.
- Assist warehouse staff in preparing items for dispatch when required.
- Follow site safety procedures and maintain a professional manner when representing the company at customer locations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, driving laws, and transport regulations.
- Full UK driving license (clean or minimal points).
- Previous driving/delivery experience (van driving essential, industry experience desirable).
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely (manual handling training preferred).
- Good timekeeping, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude when dealing with clients and colleagues.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance (checking oil, tyres, fluids, etc.).
- Experience in the construction, engineering, or lift industry.
- CSCS card or willingness to obtain one.
- Forklift license or manual handling certification.
