Here at Amegreen Childrens Services Ltd, we have a new and exciting opportunity for a Driver to join our expanding dedicated team to provide transport for our young people to school and back. You will join us on a part-time, permanent basis, Term time Only working a minimum of 20 hours per week and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £12.50 per hour.

About the role:

As a Driver, you will act as a positive role model for the children within Amegreen Children’s Services, offering transport to and from their home to school and back again, along with any addtional appointments or trips that may be required, always ensuring the safety of each child.

Skills and experience required:

  • Must hold a valid CLEAN UK Driving licence
  • Be able to drive a company supplied vehicle which includes cars, 8 seat people carriers and larger wheelchair accessible vehicles (all can be driven on a car licence)
  • Previous experience would be beneficial but not essential
  • Pass an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check for you as you will be working with vulnerable young people
  • Group 2 medical to comply with licensing standards
  • Have the right to work in the UK
