There is an exciting opportunity for a Cleaner to support our services at Victoria Hospital, Wimborne
This post is 12 hours per week
Tuesday to Friday - 1800-2100 (timings could be flexible)
The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving a high standard of cleanliness in a clinical ward based environment working on the inpatient Ward and the Minor Injury Unit, ensuring that a clean, safe and comfortable environment is maintained. Full on-site training is provided and PPE provision is also included.
Employment in this post requires an Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
Applications from candidates that require current Skilled worker sponsorship to work in the UK are unfortunately ineligible to apply for this position.
To support the Facilities Supervisor in their role and to ensure that the National standard of cleanliness is implemented and
maintained.
Main duties will include mopping, general cleaning/damp dusting, cleaning bathrooms, toilets, emptying bins, use of mechanical floor cleaning machines.
This role involves working as a team, with a flexible approach, good communication skills and the ability to use your own initiative.
The above vacancy offers an opportunity to work extra hours as able - to cover sickness and staff holidays.
Good pay rates, 27 day annual leave per year to start plus BH and weekend enhancements
