This role will involve handing and preparing documents before they are sent to the National Archives. You will be checking and organising all documents to make sure they are correct and accounted for, making sure that security and confidentiality are upheld at all times

Responsibilities:
- Track, check, and protect customer information through careful handling and indexing of records.
- Preparing documents by unfolding, smoothing and checking all paperwork within the files
- Removing obstructions such as staples, paperclips or additional pieces of paper subject to specific job requirements.
- Tidying up the files i.e. removing all items and putting them in new folders.
- Using Excel to catalogue all items that are checked and prepped before sending
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Very high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- IT skills and previous experience using Microsoft Packages such as Word and Excel
- Flexible and adaptable attitude.
- Previous experience in document preparation is a plus
- experience in administrative positions is a plus .
