Are you a proactive and organised leader with experience in logistics and dispatch? We’re looking for a Dispatch Supervisor to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and timely execution of delivery schedules, as well as the efficient management of goods in and out.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
The dispatch supervisor will oversee dispatch operations to ensure on-time delivery of goods
Manage inbound and outbound shipments, coordinating with internal teams and external partners
Work in a small dedicated team from production to dispatch and warehouse staff, ensuring safe and efficient working practices
Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and delivery documentation
The dispatch supervisor will operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and effectively
Implement and uphold health & safety standards across all dispatch activities
Requirements:
Proven experience in a dispatch, logistics or warehouse supervisory role - ideally within a manufacturing environment
Valid forklift licence (counterbalance or reach)
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Good working knowledge of health & safety practices
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
As the dispatch supervisor you will have the ability to work under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities
