Salary: £76.92 - £95.68 per day (Depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time / part-time

A great opportunity is available in Blandford, as GSL Education Bournemouth Branch are looking for a caring and dedicated person to join a local school as a Disability Support Worker.

About The Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide personal care and support to students with disabilities. This role gives you the chance to help improve their well-being and independence.

Essential Qualities That We Are Looking For

• Work closely with students with disabilities, providing support with daily school activities.
• Follow individual care plans and lesson plans, ensuring the well-being and safety of the students.
• Create an inclusive and respectful environment that encourages independence and dignity.
• Team up with teachers and staff to provide complete, well-rounded support.
• Keep clear and detailed records of students' progress and activities.
  
  

The Successful Candidate Will

• Previous experience as a Disability Support Worker or similar role is helpful.
• Knowledge of different disabilities and how to support them effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassion and patience when helping students with various needs.
• Ability to adjust to the changing needs of individuals with disabilities.
