What you will do as Director of Food & Beverage

  • Your role will involve overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of all Food and Beverage outlets, ensuring that each department adheres to the standards established for both the brand as a whole and Andaz in particular.
  • Representing the Food and Beverage function on the hotel's Executive Committee
  • Ensuring that all the Food and Beverage outlets operate successfully and are individually profitable in accordance with the standard of the hotel
  • Ensuring brand standards have been implemented and colleagues deliver the brand promise, consistently providing exceptional levels of service to our guests
  • Maximising the revenue of each division and efficiently managing costs in collaboration with the Head of Departments
  • To prepare the Annual Business Plan for Food and Beverage through a structured and strategic approach, involving and guiding the Heads of Departments and other stakeholders
  • Strategically analysing business performance to facilitate accurate and meaningful forecasting
  • Regularly evaluating local, national and international market trends, vendors and other hotel operations to make sure that the hotel’s own operations remain competitive and cutting edge
  • Ensuring that Food & Beverage activities are aligned with the respective strategy
  • Working closely with Leaders and Managers in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests

About You

You will have a relevant background in a similar role in the five-star market. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.
