WHEN & WHERE YOU’LL WORK:

This position is fully remote and open to candidates within Europe, preferably within the UK, Switzerland, or the Netherlands. All necessary equipment for the role will be provided and training will occur virtually.

Travel: This role will require travel up to 30% of time, including international travel.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

As a an International IT Director at Tandem, you will provide strategic, end-to-end business process, operations, and technical guidance for IT solutions primarily within the Global Supply Chain & Customer Care business functions. This role focuses on working cross-functionally to drive an implementation roadmap for necessary systems to support Tandem’s International Business.

A Director of International IT at Tandem is also responsible for:

  • Partnering in the development of an information technology deployment plan and provide thought leadership and guidance in the execution of systems roadmaps, business and operations. Plan and own the technology strategy, architecture roadmap, IT investment plan and be accountable for delivery of IT programs along with your business partners to deliver secure and compliant technology solutions on time, on spec and on budget.
  • Provide direction and guidance to analyze and formulate portfolio guidance for IT and Business Managed technology products & services. This includes financial management, service operations, consumption, security & risk compliance to execute projects, initiative and/or programs.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with assigned business units or functional area leaders for the purpose of business technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management.
  • Implement sound rationale for portfolio management and managing technology phase-in-phase-out plans, proactively anticipating gaps and opportunities.
  • Participate in strategic and budgetary planning processes, prepare, and administer operating budgets; provide recommendations on desired business objectives and outcomes and implement new/revised initiatives according to established guidelines.
  • Collaborate and establish consensus with business leaders and IT delivery teams to determine optimal deployment plans and capabilities based on business need and available IT resources.
  • Communicate progress and project status in a concise and informative way so that all key stakeholders are well-informed.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, including Privacy/HIPAA, and other legal and regulatory requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Demonstrated thought leadership and hands-on expertise in technology innovation, with a proven track record of successful project delivery in both traditional and Agile environments.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills, coupled with the ability to make high-level decisions and manage relationships effectively to drive objectives.
  • Strong understanding of IT processes and ability to implement innovative concepts, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and strategic change management.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Expert understanding of supply chain and logistics processes, working with 3rd party logistics (3PL) providers, order to cash and customer support processes, preferably in a regulated medical device environment in Europe.
  • Proven broader medical technology organization knowledge and broad-based IT expertise across related functions.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles, with at least 5 years managing European IT operations for similar businesses.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing large-scale IT projects and driving technological innovation in a multinational corporate environment.
