The Commercial Excellence Director EMEA for Leica Biosystems is responsible for the Commercial Excellence in EMEA, for our direct and indirect channels. In close collaboration with the Regional Commercial Directors, you will be responsible for driving commercial and business excellence by designing, implementing and improving our key commercial processes and systems supporting our customers. You will apply and implement efficient processes and action-oriented guidance to drive sales, increase our customer satisfaction and improve efficiency.
This position is part of the EMEA Commercial Team and will be remote. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead continuous improvement and drive commercial excellence of our key commercial strategic processes as (Key) Account Management, Funnel management, Forecasting, Workflow Solutions and Commercial Operations across EMEA. Ensure effective and standardized implementation of these processes across EMEA
- Identify key commercial excellence initiatives to improve commercial effectiveness
- Contribute to Sales and Marketing strategic decisions and play a critical role in designing and monitoring commercial approach and results
- Set KPIs and performance management process, deliver reliable and timely insights, assess regional sales effectiveness and productivity, identify drivers per data analytics, and develop recommendations for improvement
- Aligned with global teams, set the standard for business analytics including forward looking KPI’s and sales daily management standard work
- Supervise the governance and management of Commercial data used for reporting and sales control, responsible for ensuring commercial data hygiene (accuracy and completeness)
- Partnering with the global teams, develop framework, guiding principles, analytics and reporting systems to enhance the sales process and pipeline management, while maximizing the usage of CRM / SFDC system to support account management , new business forecasts, etc.
- Solid experience in Commercial (sales / marketing) in a global healthcare related environment.
- Excellent and proven analytical capabilities and financial acumen in complex environments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships both inside and outside the organization – ability to work effectively in a matrix structure and be accountable for delivering business results
- Positive, enthusiastic, result driven with ability to work independently and through effective lateral influencing to achieve desired outcomes
- Strong problem-solving skills, exercise independent judgement in developing structured approach, drive to resolution
- Ability to drive business success through managing customer needs, demonstrating consistent and impressive drive to bring change in support of growth and improved customer experience
