Based on our solid scientific, technological and clinical base, we are now building a commercial organization to launch and drive revenues for our Oncology portfolio. This role will be part of the Global Product Strategy team focusing on developing and potentially launching our assets in multiple solid tumor cancers. You bring an external/patient focused approach to partner with oncology clinicians to understand their patients’ needs. Utilizing those insights and knowledge to partner with R&D teams to develop successful clinical development programs that are optimized for regulatory and commercial success. Your previous experience will bring an understanding of launch planning and commercialization. You will be a key member within the global commercial team and optimize commercial performance within major markets within the US, EU and Asia.

This position can be filled in Germany, UK or US (Eastern Coast)

What you have to offer:

  • Knowledge and experience in the Oncology space, experience in some of the following areas preferred: new product development and/or new product launches to drive successful commercialization strategies
  • Understanding of Breast, Colorectal and/or Endometrial Cancers’ markets preferred
  • Proven ability to partner and influence within the R&D organization to shape programs to meet patient and clinician needs
  • Execute development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies, including product branding, positioning, and scientific messaging, to maximize market penetration and revenue growth
  • Leverage understanding of oncology healthcare customers, including providers, key opinion leaders, patients, and market access stakeholders, to inform the go to market approach that drives customer behavior change and market performance
  • Continually monitor and analyze market, customer, and competitor trends, incorporating insights into clinical development and commercialization plans
  • Implement the global brand positioning and messaging aligned to assure product characteristics capable of product differentiation and ensure aligned and commercially focused medical and market access strategy, planning and execution
  • Partner closely and provide strategic direction to cross-functional groups (e.g. Insights & Analytics, R&D, regulatory affairs, sales, finance, and Medical Affairs) for the development and implementation of strategic and executional plans
  • Execute budget requirements and ensure monitoring and tracking accordingly
  • Manage vendor partnerships to ensure key activities are executed to plan, cost-effective and within budget

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry with increasing responsibilities
  • Background in launches or line extensions within a global or US brand team or in New Product Planning / Early commercial strategy
  • Experience in NSCLC, Breast, GI and Colorectal cancer markets is preferred
  • Experience in country/affiliate commercial/marketing roles and at regional or international level
  • Undergraduate degree, MBA, PHD or similar considered a plus
  • Experience preferred in launching products both internationally and nationally
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong collaboration, team- and alignment-building skills
  • Fluent in English
