Your role...

As a Digital Marketing & Media Lead, you’ll play a key role in developing and executing strategies that demonstrate genuine impact for our life science clients. You'll work closely with your internal colleagues across commercial and client services teams to build strong relationships to understand client needs and shape service offerings that drive awareness, engagement, and lead gen opportunities, ultimately delivering meaningful growth for clients.

You’ll provide day-to-day support to your team of digital, PR and media experts. Ensuring briefs guide their delivery of world-class work that sets the broader ramarketing team up for success. Your digital expertise will play an essential role in shaping our continued digital resource capabilities, supporting the Head of Digital, PR & Media in developing the teams' capabilities, owning the development of your team, and identifying opportunities to hone our digital services.

As a capability expert within the team, you will play an essential role in our client’s journey at ramarketing. This could see you supporting the commercial team in developing proposals, attending client briefings to understand client objectives, or providing comprehensive performance & data analysis and reporting, demonstrating the real-life growth impact your teams’ work delivers.

What does a Digital Marketing, PR & Media Lead do?

You’ll ensure the team is aligned with strategies, equipped with the right tools, and set up for success. By connecting digital marketing with other capabilities, you’ll maximise impact, balance workloads, and assign the right people to the right accounts. From troubleshooting to quality assurance, you’ll keep projects running smoothly while driving recruitment, learning, and development. As a thought leader, you’ll represent ramarketing—sharing expertise, engaging with clients, and championing company values to ensure top-tier work and industry leadership.

Client Work

  • Be a trusted partner for clients – Attend meetings, understand their needs, and ensure digital solutions align with their goals.
  • Drive growth and opportunities – Identify ways to upsell and cross-sell, pitch new business, and contribute to compelling proposals.
  • Ensure smart budget management – Work with finance and client service teams to allocate investment effectively and maximise results.
  • Streamline processes for success – Refine how digital briefs are translated into impactful solutions while removing roadblocks in the client journey.

Digital & Technical

  • Create tailored digital solutions – Work with colleagues to understand client goals and challenges, using data, insights, and industry expertise to recommend the best digital marketing approaches.
  • Drive measurable impact – Set and track relevant digital marketing KPIs, ensuring strategies deliver results and align with client objectives.
  • Execute with excellence – Plan, implement, and report on PESO digital marketing strategies, ensuring all deliverables meet world-class standards, stay on budget, and are delivered on time.
  • Collaborate for success – Work with the wider team to ensure clear briefs, effective resource planning, and seamless execution alongside senior digital marketing leaders.

PESO

  • Develop and execute PESO strategies – Plan and implement Paid, Earned, Shared, and owned media strategies that drive measurable impact.
  • Leverage data-driven insights – Use analytics, industry expertise, and client objectives to shape and optimise PESO campaigns.
  • Set and track success metrics – Define relevant KPIs to monitor performance and ensure strategies align with business goals.
  • Ensure high-quality execution – Deliver world-class PESO marketing campaigns on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Collaborate across teams – Work closely with digital, PR, and media colleagues to align PESO efforts and maximise reach.
  • Continuously refine and improve – Adapt strategies based on insights, performance data, and evolving industry trends to stay ahead of the curve.

As a senior member of our capabilities team, you will have a proven ability to build and sustain strong commercial and strategic client relationships, manage complex projects, and deliver high-impact marketing solutions.

  • Proven experience in digital marketing, including planning and executing PESO (Paid, Earned, Shared, Owned) strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring teams while fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Ability to build strong client relationships, identify growth opportunities, and contribute to proposals and pitches.
  • Data-driven mindset, with expertise in setting KPIs, analysing performance, and optimizing impact campaigns.
  • Skilled in budget management, resource planning, and ensuring efficient execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Industry-aware and proactive in staying ahead of trends, contributing to thought leadership, and representing the company externally.
