What You'll Be Doing
- Product Vision & Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap that aligns with organizational goals and customer needs.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various stakeholders, including Digital Stream Leads, local product owners, and cross-functional teams, to drive transformation initiatives.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to delivery, ensuring that digital solutions are effectively implemented and meet customer expectations.
- Project Management: Oversee project activities, track actions, and manage risks to ensure timely delivery of initiatives.
- Customer Focus: Ensure that product features deliver value to our customers, defining and measuring success through key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Backlog Management: Prioritize and manage the product backlog, making informed decisions based on business value and transformation priorities.
- Team Leadership: Lead a diverse squad team, promoting motivation and collaboration while guiding day-to-day decisions.
- Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge and inform product development.
- Promote Product Evolution: Act as a champion for the product, advocating for its benefits internally and externally with partners and prospects.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, with a strong background in project management and change management principles.
- Knowledge: Good knowledge of travel insurance and the digital landscape within the sector.
- Skills: Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and challenge business requirements effectively.
- Agile Proficiency: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a proven track record of executing Agile events as a Product Owner.
- Team Collaboration: Strong project management capabilities to coordinate with IT teams and other functional business areas in a multinational environment.
- Technical Understanding: Experience working with GEN AI and tools like Azure DevOps is advantageous.
- Education: Relevant qualifications in Project Management (e.g., Prince 2, Agile) are preferred.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Personal Attributes: Resilient, tenacious, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment, with a strong commitment to AXA's core values.
