Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + London Weighting (£5,319) depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

Location: Office Base is London, Television Centre. This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will balance office working with home working.

THE ROLE

Responsibilities

  • Produce distinctive visual commercial content for a variety of digital platforms
  • Work effectively with other BBC Studios departments, ensuring you maintain excellent relationships throughout with our global stakeholders
  • Ensure the commercial content created is appropriate, thoughtful and reflects our diverse global audiences, and is in keeping with BBC branded content policy
  • Utilise your design expertise and creative solutions to enrich and engage the target audience, supporting the marketing objectives and client KPIs
  • Be accountable for the usability and accessibility of design deliveries for the broadest possible cross-section of users in line with overarching guidelines
  • Present branded content concepts and creative work to internal stakeholders and external where required, justifying design decisions with a diverse range of creative and non-creative people, collaborating successfully
  • Be accountable for commercial campaign deadlines specified by stakeholders or manager
  • Keep pace with emerging industry trends and technology developments, with particular focus on the branded content landscape
  • Work collaboratively as one central global design team to share new ideas and keep across commercial campaign outputs

WHAT DOES IT TAKE?

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA;

  • A passion for and a great understanding of the area of commercial branded content and distribution as it relates to design.
  • An experienced Adobe Creative Suite User and Figma.
  • Portfolio evidence of excellent design work demonstrating creative flair (a portfolio/link to a portfolio must be included at time of application to be considered for this role)
  • Able to talk through your design decisions with a diverse range of people; evidence of successfully collaborating and sharing your ideas.
  • Strong experience working within an agency/media owner environment.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA;

  • Understanding of the importance of the BBC's values in accuracy and impartiality.
  • Able to deliver different approaches and design styles.
  • Keep pace with latest design trends and technology developments.
