Role Overview

We are seeking a Digital Delivery Manager to drive the implementation of digital solutions on major engineering projects. This role will focus on transforming projects into data-centric environments by integrating advanced digital tools, systems, and workflows.

You will collaborate closely with corporate digital engineering teams to assess value opportunities, lead solution development, and determine the optimal approach-whether through off-the-shelf products or custom applications. The ideal candidate combines deep technical knowledge with strategic vision and leadership in Agile product development.

This position is based at our Leatherhead office in Surrey and follows a hybrid working model (3 days per week in the office, with remote flexibility).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and execution of complex Digital Execution Plans, including technical documentation.
  • Champion the integration of digital engineering tools and methods across multidisciplinary design teams.
  • Guide the strategic application of software architecture, APIs, digital twins and Common Data Environments (CDEs).
  • Apply advanced technologies including AI/ML and agile pipelines across multiple programming frameworks.
  • Serve as a senior advisor to project leadership, ensuring digital strategies align with functional and business goals.
  • Drive business value through Agile product development methodologies.
  • Manage budgets, schedules and team performance while fostering innovation and excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Significant experience in digital project delivery, including Agile Scrum leadership.
  • Proven ability to lead digital engineering initiatives and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering and information/data management.

Required Skills

  • Deep expertise in Agile Scrum development and digital solution integration.
  • Strategic leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Advanced problem-solving and systems thinking skills.
  • Business acumen with experience in managing budgets and driving ROI through digital initiatives.
  • Technical knowledge in programming, API integration, and data model design (1D-8D and beyond).
