About the team and the role
We are looking for an energetic, knowledgeable digital artist to work in an in-house team in Hatfield.
What you’ll do
- Deliver consistent and considered artwork for Ocado’s banners onsite
- Working with the senior digital designer on monthly promotions onsite
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute creative that drives customers to engage with our brands.
- Communicate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure that all artwork is delivered on time and to specification.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in digital design to ensure the creation of best-in-class assets.
- An understanding of creating print-ready work is a plus.
- This is predominantly an art working role
- To deliver pixel-perfect promotional banners for the Ocado site, working alongside the senior designer
- To provide a high-speed service in producing banners at a pace
- To work with style guides and templates on a daily basis
- To offer knowledge and skill to the E-Commerce team when producing assets for the Ocado site
Who you are
- You are a powerhouse in producing multiple onsite banners with attention to detail at speed.
- Excellent skills in Figma and design systems, Photoshop, illustrator
- A good understanding of design production, optimisation and preparing banners for onsite channels
- Previous experience in a similar role working in a busy agency/in-house studio environment.
- Attention to detail with an eye for perfection with a natural ability to understand guidelines.
- Previous experience working across E-coms/digital channels
- Excellent at Setting multiple SKU files up for designers
- Demonstrates Integrity, positivity, efficiency, thoroughness, tenacity and proactivity.
- Excellent presentation skills, passion and belief when presenting ideas to ensure buy-in.
- A brand guardian, ensuring all work fits within Brand Guidelines.
- Experience in dealing with processes.
- Outstanding skills across all design software.
- Understanding of working with HTML banners, set up and publishing, when needed (desirable)
- A strong portfolio
- Organised, resilient, self-motivated and dependable.
- Looking to be an integral part of an in-house studio.
- Advanced research and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work within a team as well as with clients.
