Role description:
We are looking for a Performance Insights Consultant to join Arcadis’ Business Advisory team. You will play a key role in shaping and delivering high-impact, data-led transformation projects across our Mobility, Places, and Resilience sectors.
Working largely independently under the guidance of senior leaders, you will proactively design and deliver multi-service workstreams, build trusted-advisor relationships with senior clients, and contribute to their strategic decision-making. Alongside project delivery, you will engage with mentors, team leaders, and line managers to support your career development, wellbeing, and progression within Arcadis.
In Management Consultancy, you’ll enhance our clients’ performance by developing asset strategies and plans, and delivering them using information, technology, and behavioural change capabilities.

Role accountabilities:
- Lead and deliver client-facing workstreams within transformation programmes
- Apply Arcadis’ 5D Framework (Diagnose, Design, Deploy, Drive, Demonstrate) to structure and deliver impactful outcomes
- Generate actionable insights across cost, performance, risk, and operational effectiveness
- Develop and implement scalable reporting and benchmarking solutions
- Leverage expertise in business intelligence, advanced analytics, and data storytelling to drive client value
- Embed modern analytics tools and approaches into client programmes to enable sustainable improvements
- Collaborate with colleagues across Arcadis to integrate insights into wider strategic advisory projects
- Support clients in achieving measurable improvements in efficiency, resilience, and decision-making
Consulting
- Experience in managing diverse stakeholder groups and fostering effective relationships, including executives, clients, team members, and external partners
- Experience working across the full project lifecycle from insight discovery through to outcome realisation
- Proven ability to structure and communicate complex insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in delivering high-quality advisory outputs including business cases, KPI frameworks, and performance baselines
- Demonstrated ability to lead analytical workstreams with small delivery teams and coordinate multi-functional input
- Strong experience in Power BI (or Tableau, Qlik) to design and deliver enterprise-grade reporting and interactive dashboards
- Experience with Python for advanced analytics, forecasting, data wrangling, and automation of insight generation
- Intermediate to advanced SQL knowledge for structured data access and performance optimisation
- Exposure to machine learning techniques such as clustering, regression, or time-series modelling
- Ability to translate ‘As-Is’ data/reporting architectures into ‘To-Be’ states using structured methods and modern toolkits
- Experience in delivering or working in technology implementations and/or digital transformation programmes from conception through to deployment
- Proven ability in utilising business analysis techniques, including requirements gathering and process mapping, to identify business needs and translate them into technology or data requirements
