The Role
Responsible for producing accurate drawings which meet the company design guidelines and provide a service excellence which meets our customer requirements. Fully supporting the sales team and Directors. This is 1 year fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
The Candidate We Are Looking For
We are looking for a collaborative and creative individual that is confident and adaptable. The role requires a detail orientated and focused designer with a passion and focus to work within both the public sector (Education & universities, local authorities, libraries) & commercial sector (Banks, law firms, and other corporate organisation) of our business. Good communication skills and the willingness to visit sites and meet clients is also essential.

Key duties & responsibilities:
- Produce furniture layouts based on client briefs from concept to installation
- Co-ordinate design layouts with external design firms, including Architects and Designers
- 3D visualisation
- Bespoke product design
- Preparation of presentation material (Mood boards, Product books, Pitch documents)
- Be receptive and adaptable to a changing environment within a fast paced industry.
- On site visits and surveys
- Qualification to Degree Level or equivalent within a design related discipline.
- Good spatial awareness.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to coordinate work and information across different communication mediums.
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
- Experience of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Good Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to collaborate on projects and integrate feedback.
- Keeping up with industry trends.
- Good visual, written, and verbal communication skills.
- A keen eye for detail and good organisation skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks, communicate well, progress and meet deadlines.
- The ability to effectively take direction and work both collaboratively and autonomously.
