Design Safety Engineer

Due to project growth the position of Design Safety Engineer has become available to join our successful team based in our Aberdeen Office

Costain provides engineering services to the Energy, Water, Transport, Nuclear and Defence sectors. With over 300 engineers and designers across the UK. Our main engineering hubs in Manchester, London and Aberdeen. Experience and capability to provide engineering services to all sectors.

Role Requirements

• With an MEng in Chemical Engineering and 3+ years experience of delivering technical safety input to projects
• You will be effective at communicating Design HSE issues within a project setting.
• Experience of hazardous area classification, consequence modelling using PHAST and production of risk assessments would be distinctly advantageous.
