Deposit and Accounts Product/Proposition Manager

Job Introduction

Main Responsibilities

• Support the Account Products Lead to develop and drive forward a growth strategy for products within the team’s area of responsibility that is aligned to the overall bank strategic goals and supports the delivery of the private banking and corporate banking proposition
• Support the development and implementation of recommended customer prices across the Private and Corporate Banking Proposition products; using data to recommend actions that will maintain and grow the profitability of the Accounts team products.
• Responsible for supporting the delivery of the Accounts team overall goals, ensuring the sharing of knowledge across the team and minimising key person risk within the team; in particular the management and operation of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
• Drive enhancements to Account products specific processes and instructions to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Support the maintenance of the products in the product database and the completions of the Product Reviews and Fair Value Assessments, in line with prevailing instructions for each product under the Accounts team area of responsibility.

• Operates in line with the Bank's Risk Management framework (including sub-frameworks) and relevant risk and compliance policies and procedures, ensuring appropriate and timely escalation of any concerns to their line manager.
• Using the banks prevailing project management methodologies and the relevant documentation, play an active role (demander/ business responsible) in the development of any new products or product features.
• Develop mutually collaborative and respectful relationships with internal and external stakeholders (up to and including EXCO).
