Job Title: Sales Executive (Delegate Relations)

We have an exciting opportunity to join our London-based Delegate Relations team as a Delegate Sales Executive—a role where you’ll play a crucial part in the success of industry-leading events.



Working with Investment Week, one of our award-winning brands, you’ll connect with top financial professionals, securing high-quality delegates through a mix of warm and cold outreach. Your role will involve engaging conversations over the phone, face-to-face research meetings, and strategic relationship building—all to ensure our events are packed with the right people.

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Manage & Maintain: Keep our client database accurate and up to date, ensuring seamless communication and event planning.
  • Engage & Convert: Confidently present compelling sales propositions to decision-makers, securing their attendance at our events.
  • Build Relationships: Develop strong connections through meetings, industry events, and meaningful phone conversations.
  • Drive Registrations: Oversee all aspects of the delegate registration process, meeting key recruitment and retention deadlines.
  • Stay Industry-Savvy: Keep up with the latest industry trends by actively reading publications and market insights.
  • Market & Promote: Boost event visibility by engaging on LinkedIn and staying connected across the financial sector.
  • Hit Targets & KPIs: Work towards team goals, meeting expectations on registrations, outreach calls, and meetings per week.
  • Leverage CRM Tools: Experience with HubSpot (preferred) and strong working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Spot Opportunities: Identify cross-selling prospects by understanding client needs and introducing relevant future events.
  • Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams, ensuring seamless teamwork and success.
