Position: Data Protection - 13 Month Placement (July 2026)

Location: BMW NSC, Farnborough

Start Date: 1st July 2026

What awaits you?

  • Play a vital role in guiding the business on data privacy and information protection compliance.
  • Support the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and awareness initiatives.
  • Assist in managing data protection incidents and breaches efficiently.
  • Collaborate with various departments to embed Privacy by Design principles.
  • Contribute to the implementation of BMW Group Standards for data protection and privacy.

What should you bring along?

  • Studying towards a degree in Business, Law, IT, Marketing or a relevent discipline – at 2.2 level or above.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy laws such as GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, PECR, and related regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills to promote awareness and training across the company.
  • Analytical mindset to oversee data protection risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different business units and technical teams.
  • Proactive attitude toward learning and supporting information security measures.
