We are looking for a Data Engineer on a short-term contract to support one of our clients.

Data Engineer Responsibilities
We are looking for a Data Engineer on a short-term contract to support one of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, building, and maintaining data transformation pipelines
- Collaborating with data analysts and ML engineers to meet data requirements.
- Monitoring the performance of data pipelines and resolving any issues that arise.
- Gathering and analysing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support business decisions.
- Analyse and evaluate the quality of processing data and results
- Strong data engineering skills: ETL processing, Reporting and Data Modeling
- Hands-on experience in SQL Server and Azure Cloud
- Strong in Data Visualization Tools: Power BI
- Preferable to have skills in:
- Data Factory and Azure services (EventHub, Cloud Functions).
- Experience in Azure Databricks (Spark)
- Proficiency in data analysis, such as SQL, Excel, Power BI.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to share findings in an understandable and actionable manner.
