About Us

Our mission? To bring personalized coaching to every corner of the globe

Imagine a world where personal development is accessible to everyone and exhilarating. That's exactly what we're building at Leya AI, and we’re starting with English language learning.

We're early pioneers in AI powered language learning, offering a B2C application that brings a hyper-personalized AI coach to each user’s fingertips at a fraction of the cost of traditional tutoring.

Benefits:

  • Monthly gross salary €2,500/month for part-time (~20 hours/week).
  • Please note that this salary may vary depending on the country of residence and your exceptionality.
  • Truly flexible working hours - we work asynchronously and have meetings during GMT+2 (Eastern Europe).
  • Work from anywhere in the world for as long as you want!
  • MacBook for an enjoyable work experience.
  • Fortnightly team lunch budget.

  • Role Overview

We’re seeking a Data Analyst with 3+ years of experience to join our team part-time for a 6-month period, with the goal of extending the collaboration long-term and potentially moving to a full-time role

You’ll play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, enhancing our AI-driven learning platform. Your work in bringing insights to our product and growth teams so we can make informed decisions will be critical to ensure we succeed.

You will have the autonomy to build with the tooling you prefer and create a best in class data reporting system.

    In this role you will:

    • Dig deep into data with SQL & BigQuery: You’ll write and refine SQL queries in Google BigQuery to pull meaningful insights from large datasets. Whether it’s spotting trends, uncovering hidden patterns, or just answering “what happened yesterday?” — you'll make sure the data answers real business questions.
    • Design dashboards that speak for themselves: Use Looker Studio (or another tool you love) to create clean, interactive dashboards that track what matters most. Your visuals will make complex data simple and help the whole team stay aligned and focused.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to unlock insights: You won’t work in a silo. Collaborate with our product and growth teams to understand what questions they need answers to. Then turn those questions into powerful data stories that guide smart decisions.
    • Be the guardian of data quality: Make sure our reporting is accurate, up-to-date, and trustworthy. You’ll help catch inconsistencies before they become problems and keep our data flowing cleanly across all systems.
    • Track the metrics that move us forward: Keep an eye on the metrics that matter such as user engagement, retention, and learning outcomes. You’ll regularly report on what’s going well, what needs attention, and what trends we should act on next.

    Must-haves:

    • At least 3 years of experience in data analysis.
    • Proficiency in SQL and experience with Google BigQuery.
    • Strong skills in data visualization using Looker Studio or another tool.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Strong communication skills to convey insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Advantages (but these are not a must!):

    • Familiarity with data integration tools like Airbyte.
    • Experience in AI-driven product environments.
    • Background in B2C, educational technology, or language learning platforms.

    Ideal candidate:

    • Is a self-starter and completer, showcasing a high level of ownership.
    • Is quick to pick up new concepts – a perpetual learner.
    • Aligns seamlessly with Leya AI's core values, embracing radical candor, customer-centricity, and a practical approach to ambition.
