Job Description
Ultra Precision Control Systems (PCS) are looking for a Customer Service Administrator to provide support to the Customer Services Department. As a key member of the Customer Services team, you will be responsible for the processing of customer orders as well as the shipment of product from Ultra.
You will ensure that customer data is entered in an accurate and timely manner, whilst understanding and working towards the goals of the business.
This is a part time role.
Key Responsibilities:
Candidates must be able to work in the UK without restrictions in accordance with UK National Law and be prepared to successfully undertake an appropriate level of UK National Security Vetting according to UK Government National Security Vetting criteria.

Job Description
Ultra Precision Control Systems (PCS) are looking for a Customer Service Administrator to provide support to the Customer Services Department. As a key member of the Customer Services team, you will be responsible for the processing of customer orders as well as the shipment of product from Ultra.
You will ensure that customer data is entered in an accurate and timely manner, whilst understanding and working towards the goals of the business.
This is a part time role.
Key Responsibilities:
- To process customer orders onto the MRP system ensuring all data is accurate and processed in a timely manner.
- To understand and interpret the customers’ requirements, including shipping processes, quality, delivery, packaging etc. and ensure that these requirements are reflected throughout the manufacturing cycle.
- To issue order acknowledgements to the customer which accurately reflect the Company’s conditions of acceptance and delivery schedules.
- To handle customer order enquiries in a responsive and professional manner.
- To pro-actively inform the customer / project manager of any changes during the scheduled production process that may impact upon the agreed delivery schedules.
- To assist in the expediting of information to ensure that the customers’ requirements are met.
- To produce the required release and despatch paperwork, ensuring that these reflect the customers’ requirements as stated on the original order.
- Liaison with third party packing company on site, to ensure all customer shipments are moving through the business in a timely manner.
- To compile and issue regular order status reports, as agreed with customers internally and externally.
- To carry out any other duties as may be reasonably requested.
- Experience in a customer service role
- Experience working within an administrative based role or environment, providing high quality service and support
- Excellent customer interface skills
- Committed to customer satisfaction
- Well organised, confident and professional
- Proficient with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Databases)
