Our developments at Duncombe Square and Burnholme Green are designed to support this commitment and will be certified to Passivhaus standard, providing comfort and reducing energy use and bills.
Our projects provide mixed tenure developments in an integrated way, we provide homes for first time buyers, growing families and those in retirement.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Customer Care Officer, who will work with our project team, customers, internal and external partners. You will ensure that people buying or renting our homes are informed, supported, and valued from first contact to post occupation, including monitoring and resolving defects.
You will join a highly motivated and supportive team and will be able to develop your knowledge and skills in many different aspects of Customer Care and Housing Delivery.
We don’t expect you to be an expert on all aspects, good communication skills, being well organised, self-motivated and proactive with a solutions-based approach and have a genuine interest in housing and Customer Care are all key to the success of our programme. Knowledge of the relevant legislation in relation to the purchase and selling of properties and leasehold regulations would be helpful.
Training and support will be provided.

Hybrid working arrangements are available for this role. Each role at CYC is different and your working arrangements will be determined based on the requirements of the role and in collaboration with you and your needs as part of the recruitment process. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team.
As this role is public facing, applicants will need to demonstrate, at interview, their competency to converse and provide advice and guidance to members of the public, in spoken English to CEFR level C2: Can express themselves spontaneously at length with a natural conversational flow, avoiding or backtracking around any difficulty so smoothly that the person with whom they are conversing is hardly aware of it.
