As a credit controller you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts and, with support from your colleagues, help to reduce aged debt across the Business Pay customer base, employing various systems to carry out your duties.

The Opportunity
As a credit controller you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts and, with support from your colleagues, help to reduce aged debt across the Business Pay customer base, employing various systems to carry out your duties.
These Will Include
Day to Day responsibilities
- Chasing payment for all accounts in your portfolios
- Answering inbound calls from customer services
- Processing and allocating card payments
- Dispute management
- Complaint handing
- Submitting proof of debts to liquidators, administrators, trustees and Insolvency Practitioners
- Referring accounts for debt collection
- Monitoring worklists on debt collectors websites
- Submitting court claims (Money Claims On Line)
- Allocation of debt agency payments
- Adhoc duties as required

- You've got substantial knowledge to help you identify problems and help resolve issues
- Ability to tackle issues and difficult conversations with confidence and empathy

- Excellent communication skills
- You possess sophisticated knowledge of PC/literacy skills, including the confident use of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- You will have problem solving skills; the ability to identify the exact details of the problem through a rational process and be able to take steps to ensure a successful resolution, as well as an attention to detail.
- You will have client relationship skills, enabling trust and a good rapport with the customers
- You have a willingness and flexibility to ensure all service levels across all the accounts are maintained and delivered
- Motivation and commitment to maintaining up-to-date ledgers
