Job Summary And Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Rent Arrears Manager, we are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join our fast growing Credit Control department based in Worthing. As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for timely collection of rent on behalf of our clients & fees across your portfolio.
Key Responsibilities

As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for timely collection of rent on behalf of our clients & fees across your portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively contact landlords regarding arrears at scheduled intervals via telephone and email.
- Respond to incoming calls and resolve queries efficiently, ensuring all issues are managed within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
- Liaise with landlords regarding tenancies that are due to receive Section 8 notices as required.
- Manage and resolve tickets raised through the ticketing system within agreed SLAs.
- Maintain and monitor credit control email inboxes to ensure timely responses and follow-up.
- Positive can-do attitude when it comes to delivering business change
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail: accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Good business acumen for problem solving & customer focus
- Good level of IT related knowledge and associated Microsoft office packages
- Property related experience but not essential
- Proven track record for career growth and advancement within the company
