About The Role

As a Cover Teacher, you will step into classrooms to ensure students continue their learning journey in a positive and engaging environment. Your responsibilities will include delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and supporting students in their educational needs.

Essential Qualities That We Are Looking For

• Delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining the flow of learning.
• Managing classroom behaviour to create a positive atmosphere.
• Supporting students with their educational needs and ensuring they are engaged in the classroom.
• Collaborating with school staff to provide continuity in education.
  
  

The Successful Candidate Will

• A relevant teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent) is desirable.
• Previous experience in a Cover Teacher role is essential.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage with a diverse range of learners.
