Salary: £85 - £100 per day (Depending on experience)

As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will be at the heart of the learning environment, ensuring students stay engaged and focused during teacher absences. Your role will be instrumental in maintaining a positive and structured classroom atmosphere while delivering pre-set lessons across various subjects.

Key Responsibilities Of Cover Supervisor (CS)

• Supervise and manage classrooms, delivering pre-planned lessons in the teacher’s absence.
• Encourage student participation and ensure they remain on task.
• Uphold school policies on behaviour and learning expectations.
• Provide support and guidance to students, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Adapt to different subjects and year groups with confidence and enthusiasm.
  
  

Requirements Of Cover Supervisor (CS)

• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Applicable for secondary schools.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A genuine passion for education and supporting young adults.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.

To work with GSL Education as a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will need:

• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
• Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
