Salary: £85 - £100 per day (Depending on experience)

Start Date: Immediate

GSL Education are looking for a devoted Cover Supervisor (CS) to become part of an enthusiastic school in Weymouth, where you will actively contribute to fostering a passion for learning.

About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will be essential in ensuring the continuity of education during short-term teacher absences. You will supervise classes, keeping students engaged, focused, and on track with their studies while supporting a positive and effective learning environment.

Key Responsibilities Of Cover Supervisor (CS)

• Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure students remain engaged and on task.
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
• Support students in their learning and aid as needed.
• Monitor and record students’ progress and provide feedback to teachers.
• Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
  
  

Requirements Of Cover Supervisor (CS)

• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Applicable for secondary schools.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A genuine passion for education and supporting young adults.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.

To work with GSL Education as a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will need:

• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
• Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
