We’re looking for an experienced Corporate Tax Advisor to join our growing advisory team at Thomas & Co. In this role, you’ll help deliver our flagship Tax Efficiency Audits — deep strategic reviews that identify opportunities for tax optimisation, international structuring, and long-term planning for founder-led and fast-growing businesses.
You’ll work directly with ambitious entrepreneurs, high-net-worth individuals, and established company directors, providing intelligent, commercially aware tax strategies. Our advisory work focuses mainly on the UK, with advisory on international options for curious and mobile entrepreneurs.

We’re looking for an experienced Corporate Tax Advisor to join our growing advisory team at Thomas & Co. In this role, you’ll help deliver our flagship Tax Efficiency Audits — deep strategic reviews that identify opportunities for tax optimisation, international structuring, and long-term planning for founder-led and fast-growing businesses.
You’ll work directly with ambitious entrepreneurs, high-net-worth individuals, and established company directors, providing intelligent, commercially aware tax strategies. Our advisory work focuses mainly on the UK, with advisory on international options for curious and mobile entrepreneurs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of corporate tax advisory work as part of our Tax Efficiency Audit process.
- Deliver tax-efficient planning across areas such as:
- Profit extraction strategies
- Holding company and group structures
- Shareholder reorganisations and demergers
- Residency and domicile planning
- Family Investment Companies (FICs) and wealth preservation vehicles
- Trusts and estate planning (including tax-efficient legacy structures)
- Use of double tax treaties and permanent establishment considerations
- Intellectual property (IP) structuring and licensing strategies
- Business exit planning
- Pre-transaction restructuring (in advance of investment, sale, or M&A events)
- Pension-led planning and SSAS opportunities (where relevant)
- Experienced tax advisor with a focus on UK corporate tax and international structuring.
- A strong background in advisory work — ideally 5+ years in tax consultancy, private client, or entrepreneurial SME-focused firms.
- CTA-qualified (or equivalent). ACA/ACCA-qualified candidates with strategic tax experience also welcome.
- Confident advising business owners, high-net-worth clients, and international entrepreneurs.
- Commercially minded — able to align tax strategy with business growth and personal goals.
- Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and target-driven.
- Clear, persuasive communicator who can simplify complexity and lead with authority.
