About The Role
WPS is seeking a highly organised and proactive Contract Support Lead to join our team in Atherstone, supporting the prestigious Twycross Zoo project. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the smooth running of facilities management operations for one of the UK’s leading conservation charities and visitor attractions.
Key Responsibilities
Twycross Zoo is an award-winning conservation charity, home to over 500 animals and welcoming more than 500,000 visitors annually. As a specialist primate zoo, it is the only UK zoo to house all four types of great ape, including the UK’s only group of Bonobos.
Given the nature of this position, you will need to undergo a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) at offer stage. Contract Support Lead
Location: Atherstone, Warwickshire
About The Role
WPS is seeking a highly organised and proactive Contract Support Lead to join our team in Atherstone, supporting the prestigious Twycross Zoo project. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the smooth running of facilities management operations for one of the UK’s leading conservation charities and visitor attractions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative and contract support to the Account Manager and operational teams.
- Act as the main point of contact for client queries, ensuring prompt and professional communication.
- Manage CAFM (Computer-Aided Facilities Management) systems, including raising and closing work orders, updating asset data, and producing reports.
- Support financial processes, including raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and assisting with budget tracking.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on actions.
- Maintain accurate records for compliance, health & safety, and statutory documentation.
- Assist with the mobilisation of new works, projects, and contract variations.
- Drive continuous improvement in contract administration and customer service.
- Experience in a contract support, facilities administration, or similar role (FM sector experience desirable).
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CAFM or similar systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
- Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Willingness to learn and support the unique operational needs of a live zoo environment.
